The painted Duck Heroes so far. If anyone has any requests or suggestions that aren't painted here or listed below, please let me know. I am by no means an expert on ducks (especially Disney Ducks, since I just got into this fandom like a year ago).
Current Duck Heroes on my list to be painted: Red Bat Red Bat (Ultraheroes) Masked Tophat Masked Tophat (Ultraheroes) Super Daisy (Ultraheroes) Superduck / Duck Avenger/ Paperinik (Ultraheroes) Cloverleaf (Ultraheroes) Whoever the guy is that Duck Avenger got his gear from (Fantomallard, I think?) Dolly Paprika Maybe Stegmutt (he used to be a duck)???
Edit: There's a Donald Red Bat??

My fav thing about TAZ is that any aspect out of context sounds fucking bonkers.
Like, in the balance finale there's a scene in which Garfield (who is very specifically never described visually bc most people imagine him as like. The Lasagna Cat. Who in this universe is the most powerful warlock in the realm and also has a hobby of cloning people, which is great for the one character that got forced into haunting a mannequin) is summoned by an alien spaceship that runs on the power of friendship so he could beat up some flashing balls. In D&D.
And that was just. Such a normal scene in the narrative. No one blinked an eye. I would like to bow down to Griffins clear unmatched talent for making me feel such big emotions over ridiculous shit like a goddamned umbrella or a regular ass pair of jeans or the idea of a taco recipe.
#taz balance#the adventure zone#taz#i have. so many drafts of this post decontexualizing so many different scenes.#merle killing a room of autism creature looking things by asking them to tell the truth which then summons god#also merle retiring from his retirement to run fantasy margaritaville under the title Earl Merle#magnus the mannequin telling taako and merle to find the baby voidfish bc the big voidfish sung at him real hard bc in the century he#just now remembered (bc hes a mannequin not a human boy)#he gifted an alien jellyfish with dozens of shitty wooden ducks. he forgot that century bc his friend fed the jellyfishs baby a book#the gnome version of Teddy Rucksbin turns out to be the universes most competent spaceship pilot. hes also a talented opera singer#a man named Barry Bluejeans is dead and uses his ghost haunting powers to gift the three heroes badges that they cant see#right before theyre shuttled off in a cannonball to save a space lab full of kitschy elevators thats snowing pink tourmaline#barry also uses his ghost powers to hold hands with magnus and make random shapes in midair like a dresser when theyre trapped in a#fantasy version of The Dating Game hosted by ghost Jesse and James Rocket who steal bodyparts if you lose their game.#or like in campaign how a dude who wiped out in the first three seconds of ninja warrior convinces a human wifi router#who owns a bible theme park to take the apparent King of America to the white house on their hovercraft to be trued for treason#after he announced his intent to take over the country in a televised debate with an inuit goddess who is sometimes trapped in the body#of an HR worker all Donald Blake/Thor style#anyways. this show is ridiculous and i love it So Much

Looney Tunes: Back in Action: - Removed Content
this part kills me.
Kate "We'll replace Daffy with a hot girl"
Bugs "I wouldn't want to hurt a girl"
Kate "Ok but we'll make you guys enemies-to-lovers"
Bugs (completely skipping the insinuation of romancing the girl) "Usually I'm the girl in the relationship"

In honor of my period coming two fucking days early, here’s a menstruation based pjo question.

#so that dotd rewrite is out and i have some thoughts on it but i wouldn't know where to put them.. maybe in here bc i don't actually feel -#- like making a whole ass text post. this is coming from me as criticism and not hate.. just some crit from one fan to another if you get m#SPOILERS AHEAD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>#first off props to the team because this was obv a labor of love - 4 and a half years to make a feature long fan movie is hard work#and the animated stuff was a really nice touch and very commendable - you don't see them too often in big fanworks#in terms of the story well.. there are some things i like and some things that i don't (personally) again no hate#i'm aware this is a rewrite and boy howdy it IS a rewrite - though i am a bit sad that percy doesn't end up being the protagonist and it's#- thomas that has to play hero again.. like i kinda get it but what made the original dotd stand out was that percy was given the spotlight#so i spent an ungodly amount of time wondering when percy was gonna take charge or step into the main story to resolve the problem.. sigh#i liked that they tried to give norman more of a character bc a lot of characters do often get neglected in the series but it was kind of -#- hard to sell that for me? the twist in this rewrite was very creative and i do appreciate it but i guess it just ain't for me#“different” is ok and this is just one of many fan rewrites for this particular story#if there was something i enjoyed.. i guess the beginning was still kind of exciting because the set up was honestly like hype a bit#i liked that diesel and d10 actually got to interact face to face and there are clearer dynamics established for the diesels#and also. silverband's performances as d10 will always be fun he does a fantastic job voicing him (how d10 stole xmas will still be my fav)#my criticisms for this movie also derive from the pacing and the voice acting - i found it hard to try and understand tones sometimes -#- because the delivery felt so off.. like don't get me wrong not everyone in the fandom is a voice actor but if we're using static faces -#- for these fan works the delivery has to be a little more clear or else it'll sound like you're reading from a script.. sorry yall :"|#for the pacing i found it a bit hard to parse when some things were going on and how fast things were progressing#as well as the crashes.. that's also another thing bc i couldn't tell bc of the sfx and audio balancing - it could be better..#i wanna say. muffled voices do not substitute for a “far away”/off-screen voice bc i still can't hear it :“|#there were a lot of throwbacks and references to older thomas media/movies but some of them felt a little.. much?#if this is a dotd rewrite why are we getting some parallels with tatmr.. but i digress. at least they made diesel beef with duck a bit#there's a lot more i could say but i'm keeping those to myself. at the end of the day this fan movie was hard work for everyone involved#and you can tell some of the folks were having fun in there - props to them! i'm always glad to see more fan works in the community#we've come so far we're making feature length fan stories and rewrites that's crazy! i hope to see more in the future#fauxtrainpost.txt

vending machine coffee
hi guys i did not move for 7 hrs until i finished this HELP MEEEEE (From the lineart+colors stage btw.... it basically took 7 hrs for rendering LKDSKJADKSAHD)
this is technically long winter au (royal trio r trapped together for longer than like 10 minutes) and this is.. i guess.. like a week in? to maruki's actualization. so theyre all very antsy and anxious (and sumire and goro havent reaaaalllyyy had many heart-to-hearts yet)
ANYWAY do u think abt the horror of being slam dunked into an ""ideal reality"" and not knowing what's real and what's fake and Most horrifically. getting used to the fake part
i like to think in long winter au they band together super close bc theyre tbh frightened of this reality, don't know wtf could happen if maruki could do This then he could do Anything right. so they walk all together like ducks in a line LMAOOO
akira feels disheartened at akechi's joke in page 1 - like yeah shit ur right. what's real and what's not. sumire distracts them by buying coffee
akira covers akechi's mouth bc he thinks hes gonna say some dumb shit (he wasn't)
(also for the record sumire hands the first coffee to goro and then the 2nd to akira then akira picks the last one up for her)
THE WAY AKIRA SMILES AT SUMIRE IM GONNA JUUUUUUUUUMP (i forgot to draw his bag strap there. fml. whatever)
woah the posters on the wall thats crazayyy is that the detective prince, the phantom thieves, and kasumi yoshizawa (tm)???? woahhhhh smile
akira grimaces at akechi's ""advice"" bc he Knows how real it is. He knows how haunted goro is by 1) his mother's death. 2) his murders. 3) the death of his Child self and his dreams of being a "hero of justice." sumire obviously doesn't know all this baggage so she just takes it at face-value like "yeah ur right senpai now that i think abt it!" but it really weighs heavily on akira and goro realizes that in the last page. so hes like. shit. well. ermmm. awkward lets get outta here
i like the colors on the last page eheh
ok time for me to eat something im feel like im dying.

"So? Tell me about the hot pilot."
It takes only a second to scroll through the rows of photos until he finds the one he wants to show her, but instead of handing his phone over, he takes a moment to admire it. The post has nine photos in it and this is the fourth one in—it's by far his favorite out of all the others on the account. Considering how many contenders there are, that's really saying something.
Maddie pointedly clears her throat and Buck ducks his head with a sheepish laugh, because he knows he's being mean by keeping her waiting. If the tables were turned and she was holding out on him, he'd be ready to tackle her to get to the phone. Plus, he's already looked at the picture at least three hundred times over the last two days; it's not like he's going to miss anything. He's pretty sure he could draw it from memory.
Nervously licking his suddenly-dry bottom lip, he slides the phone across the counter to her, and she snatches it up like a winning lottery ticket, or Golden Grahams, which she used to hide from him when they were younger because he could house an entire box in a single sitting.
She draws in a surprised breath when she looks at the screen, and he takes it as his cue to round the island and crowd in behind her so he can peer at it from over her shoulder.
Whoever took the shot should get a Pulitzer. It was taken through the open door of a helicopter, perfectly framing the three people in the cockpit. There are two kids—a girl no more than ten years old wearing a headset and looking at the instrument panel, while the other kid has their back to the camera, showing the familiar logo of two hands holding each other on the back of their shirt—and then there's Tommy, who's half inside the opposite door and haloed by the light of the Harbor hangar, his gaze focused on whatever he's pointing at on the panel. His head is slightly turned, exposing the textbook-perfect right angle of his jawline, and his mouth is half open. But, unlike every picture where Buck looks like a dumbass with his mouth open wide enough to drive a truck through, Tommy looks handsome and competent, caught mid-explanation about manifold pressure or rotor RPMs or any of the other gauges that Buck looked up before he'd called for the Harbor tour.
"Buck," Maddie says, stunned. She opens her mouth like she's going to say something else, but then she closes it with an audible click.
"I know."
She spins around and smacks his arm, her grin threatening to consume her entire face. "Buck!"
"I know." He does know. He really does.
"Oh my god." Maddie turns back to the phone and swipes to see the other photos, but the only other one in the post with Tommy in it is a group shot. He stands in the back of a gaggle of kids with four of his teammates, taller than everyone else, and it's either the vivid blue of his flight suit or the magnetic force field that seems to hover around him all the time, but Buck's attention is drawn immediately to him. The first time he saw the photo, it took him a second to realize there were like twenty other people in it.
"Oh my god," Maddie says again.
Each of Tommy's hands are on the shoulders of two kids, and he's smiling so widely that his eyes are almost closed. He looks so good. He looks like he did when he glanced up from the menu as Buck approached the table—like anyone in the world could've shown up but he was thrilled it was Buck specifically. No one had ever looked at him like that before. Like he was the correct answer.
And that's a wrap on our annual flight rescue simulation! As always, huge thanks to the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club (@labgc) for introducing us to the next generation of heroes. Can't wait to get up there with them again someday! #labgc #lafdharbor1
He blows out a breath. "I'm such an idiot."
"You're not an idiot. There's no way you could've anticipated Eddie showing up." Maddie swipes over to Tommy's full Instagram profile and starts tapping open photos at random. When she gets to another of Buck's favorites—the one of Tommy mid-laugh, sandwiched between a man and a woman in a bar booth with trivia sheets spread out on the table in front of them—she mutters, "Good lord."
Buck looks at the man and how he's shoved up against Tommy's side, and he swallows around a familiar sour crackle in his jaw. He'd told Tommy point blank that he can get jealous, but he's a little surprised by how much he wants to reach right into the screen and rip the poor guy out of the photo with his bare hands. He shouldn't be shocked, though; he did maim his best friend for the crime of having Tommy's attention, after all.
But that guy in the picture could've been Buck. If he hadn't been an asshole, he could've been the one sitting next to Tommy, pressed up against him and laughing, flushed with victory and good company and beer, filling out answers on the sheet and preening when Tommy turned an impressed smile on Buck for helping take their team to the final round because he knew things like what the fear of is flowers called and the world record for the longest hiccupping spree.
"I shouted to the entire restaurant that we were going to pick up hot chicks after dinner, Maddie," Buck says, and looks away from the photo where he isn't. "I might as well have paid someone to skywrite 'NO HOMO' above the Coliseum. So, yeah, I am an idiot for that."
She winces. "How'd he, uh, take that? Was he really mad?"
"Worse," he says miserably. "He was really nice."
Where his hand rests on the countertop next to her, Buck's fingers curl in to press against his palm, and the rest of his body wants to follow suit out of shame. He can't stop thinking about how quiet Tommy was after Eddie and Marisol left, how the confidence and charisma and razor-sharp wit had all grown dull and quiet from the time it took them to get up from their table and make their way to the street.
When Tommy cut the night short, he could have been awful about it. He could have yelled. He could've called Buck a homophobe, or chewed him out for wasting Tommy's time, or sneer that Buck would be better off watching the movie from the comfort of the closet. It would've been well within his right to do any of it, and Buck had been prepared for it.
He hadn't been prepared for Tommy to be kind.
"But it's not just that. I'm an idiot because… how did I not know? How do you miss something like this about yourself? Nine year olds are out there figuring it out with no problem, and meanwhile, I'm thirty-two and I had—I had no idea. I'm so stupid."
He bends over and drops his head onto the counter with a painful, yet somehow satisfying thunk.
Maddie places a hand between his shoulder blades. It's not too heavy, like she's holding him down, and it's not too light, like she doesn't know if her touch is welcome. It's just right. It always is. Even when she was a kid, she always knew how to hit the goldilocks zone when it came to comfort. His parents never came close.
"What if it were me?"
He tilts his head on the counter to look at the contemplative slash of her mouth. "What?"
"What if I were the one discovering this about myself?"
The question is soft and sweet, like how their backyard in Hershey used to fill up with hundreds of dandelions in the spring and they'd spend hours picking them and blowing the clocks everywhere, but the smile on her face is the sound of their mother shouting at them to stop because she thought the dandelions were an eyesore and they were basically planting more of them to come up in the fall.
"Would you call me stupid for not figuring it out sooner? Would you say, 'Maddie, you're pushing forty, how did you miss this?'"
Offended, Buck comes off the countertop so fast he nearly gives himself whiplash. "What?! O-Of course not—"
"Then why is it okay when it's you?" She demands, voice trembling like she's physically pulling on the reins of her anger and it's fighting her, just like it did when he hitchhiked to Marysville with a group of boys and perforated both his ear drums jumping off the Rockville Bridge. "You don't get to call one of my favorite people stupid, okay? You're not. There's no time limit to these things, Buck. You just… you figure it out when you figure it out and not a second before, and I'd be saying the same thing if you were one of those nine year olds or if you were ninety."
Buck doesn't know what his face is doing, but Maddie takes one look at him, clucks her tongue in sympathy, and then wraps her arms around him. He presses into her embrace with a grateful exhale.
Clinging to Maddie, to the quiet, endless strength of her, is nothing new, and neither is the wave of sheer wonder and disbelief that nearly knocks him on his ass because somehow she's his sister. Out of everyone in the world he could've been saddled with, he got the best of the best. He has no idea what he did in a past life to have earned a place in her current one, but it must have been amazing.
"Thanks, Mads," he says quietly into her hair. When she first started dating Doug, she switched from the peppermint conditioner she loved to the floral stuff he preferred. Buck inhales a little and swallows tears upon getting a whiff of something sweet and minty.
She pulls back a little and pats his chest, smiling. "So, what's the plan?"
He blinks. "The plan for what?"
"For trying again," Maddie clarifies, pointedly, like she wants to call him dumb but can't because she just spent the last five minutes telling him he wasn't. "So you screwed up. Big deal. We all screw up. What are you going to do to fix it?"
"Uh, I-I don't think he's going to go for that, to be honest," Buck mutters, looking down at his phone.
Last night, standing in Miceli's foyer and practically leaving craters in the floor where he was bouncing excitedly on his heels, he'd texted Tommy to see if he was already seated. The last message Tommy sent him reads: Head toward the back. I'm in one of the side booths on the left. You can't miss me :-)
There hasn't been anything since.
After Tommy cheerfully knocked Buck's entire world off its axis and walked out the door with a grin and the promise of a date, Buck had paced his apartment like a caged tiger, feeling both too big and too small for his skin, jittery and restless. The fourth time he'd stopped in the middle of a room and started laughing for no reason, he conceded he might be losing his mind. He'd felt like the only thing keeping him from exploding or floating into the stratosphere was the fact he had a shift in the morning. He'd kept away from the windows just to be on the safe side.
You like men, he'd thought giddily to himself, over and over. You are attracted to men. A man asked you out on a date and you said yes because you want to go. A man kissed you tonight and you loved it. You didn't want to stop. You want him to do it again.
It was like he'd finally found the last missing piece to the Buck puzzle he'd been searching for as long as he could remember, and slotting it into place felt like skipping the 5.0 upgrade and going straight to a different operating system. Increased storage capacity. Longer battery life. A brand new product.
He'd swore to himself that he would be cool about it. He wouldn't be a clingy, needy mess and drive Tommy off before he was able to explore whatever this was. That lasted all of twenty minutes before he was texting Tommy with trembling thumbs to thank him for coming over and clearing the air, and then threw his phone across the room. He spent the next ten minutes fighting the urge to claw his own face off until he heard the ping of a new text message.
It said, Sorry for the delay I'm still driving. Thank YOU for your hospitality ;-)
Buck had to go stick his head in the fridge to cool down about the implications of that, but once he calmed down and unscrewed the manic grin from his face, they were off to the races.
The only times they weren't messaging each other were between the hours of 1am and 5:30am, or if they were on shift. Although Buck didn't exactly hold to that. He found ways to sneak off a text or twenty during calls when he could, and he had the sneaking suspicion Tommy was doing the same. The photo he got of the sun setting over LA, taken through a helicopter's windshield, was kind of a giveaway.
It's been 24 hours since he last heard the text tone he'd assigned to Tommy's contact file—a sort of whuff sound that reminds him a little of rotor blades spinning—and he feels like if he doesn't hear it soon, he's going to go insane.
This is absolutely not the first time he's fucked up a date and was ghosted afterwards, but it is the first time the subsequent radio silence has made him feel like his colon is tying itself into a square knot. And he hates it.
"So, you're just—giving up," Maddie says, incredulity turning the question into a statement of disbelief.
He looks away from the phone and shrugs. "I'm… being respectful. It's pretty obvious he doesn't want to hear from me. I wouldn't want to hear from me."
"You don't know what he wants," Maddie points out. "He said he didn't think you were ready for this, right? Maybe he's trying to be respectful too."
He doesn't want to get his hopes up, but it sounds so plausible when she says it. Especially because Tommy hasn't been anything but even-keeled and kind and compassionate, and Buck truly doesn't think any of it is a front. If Buck reached out, he knows Tommy would respond. If Buck started texting him again and never once brought up the kiss or their disaster of a date, if he boxed up the overwhelming need to be the center of Tommy's attention and shifted things back to the safety zone of friendship, Tommy would let him. They'd be okay.
The thought of it makes Buck want to punch something.
Maddie peers up at him with a sly tilt to her mouth, but instead of calling him on whatever she sees on his face, she simply says, "But I do think keeping this from Eddie is twisting you up a bit. Maybe you need to jump that hurdle before you can move forward."
He clicks his tongue and gives a reluctant nod, because she's right. As usual. "H-How do I tell him that I'm… you know."
"Okay," she says with a falsely bright smile and wide eyes, her tone needling. "If you can't even say it out loud, then maybe you shouldn't—"
"That I like men, Maddie, god," he whines, face hot. "You're so mean to me. Jesus, do you treat Chim like this?"
"Only when he asks really nicely," she says horrifyingly.
He sticks his fingers in his ears and starts shouting, "LA LA LA!"
Maddie cracks up, then gives his chest a conciliatory pat. Annoyed, he shrugs her off, which makes her laugh harder. "I'm your sister, doofus. I'm contractually obligated to piss you off until you do what I want sometimes. Didn't you read the handbook?"
Which makes him duck his head and laugh a little. "The handbook" was a running joke they had when they were kids about what siblings were and weren't allowed to do. He hasn't thought of the handbook since the whole thing with Doug, when he realized Maddie had been taken and a tiny voice in the back of the mind whispered, "According to the handbook, you're allowed to hunt him down like a dog and kill him."
Sighing, he leans into her and nods. "I know. I know I need to talk to Eddie. I-I just wish I had some kind of guarantee he's not going to—that nothing's gonna change when he finds out."
Leaning into him right back, Maddie promises, "If it does, I'll beat him up."
"Yeah?" He smiles, a little pleased by the thought. He wants to tell Tommy about it. But he can't. Not yet. "That in the handbook?"
"Page 53," she says, and hugs him.

Barry knew something was wrong when he woke up that morning, but he couldn't place what. There was nothing wrong in the house, nor with his family. His team were as normal as they could be, and none of his rogues had gotten out, nor was anyone causing any trouble in Central City. Then, just as he'd gotten off work at the police station, an emergency meeting for the Justice League was called. Ugh, David's gonna be pissed that he has to call out again!
The Watchtower, when he got there, was a mess. Heroes were obviously panicking, and there must be magic users on board because there were things flying every which way. The meeting room, however, was somehow worse.
"What the hell is going on?" The Flash demanded after ducking behind a chair.
"Constantine and Deadman are on a warpath!" Aquaman helpfully supplied from where he was hidden behind his own chair.
"I gathered that much," Flash shouted over the noise of a chair being shattered against the wall behind him.
Aquaman scowled at him. "The hell do you want me to say? I don't know what's got them so upset!
The door opened again, announcing Batman's presence. He cleared his throat and the room instantly fell silent. Things kept flying around, but they were much more lax than they had been. Cautiously, the gathered heroes emerged from their makeshift hiding places to sit in their chairs.
"What's this about, Constantine?" the Dark Knight asked once everyone was seated.
Instead of the Brit, the ghost beside him was the one to answer. "You idiots-" he growled, "-have really fucked up this time!" he shouted.
Flash idly noticed that only the heroes operating in America were present. Huh. He had a dream just like this last night!
Or was it the night before?
"Slow down," Wonder Woman said. The Flash quietly joined her for her next line, "What's going on?"
The Flash continued to speak with Constantine, his voice quiet and simultaneous with the magic user's, "The US Government are more aware than any of us-" Flash's voice got louder as he spoke with the occultist. Aquaman side-eyed him. "-are comfortable with. The fact that they hid it 'til now is baffling."
"Flash?" Aquaman muttered to him, "Are you okay?"
Flash shook his head and continued speaking in tandem with Deadman, his eyes going wide. "It's been brought to my attention that your government has been targeting my people." The ghost was now looking at Flash, too.
Flash finished for him, "They've taken a child."
Ulike his dream, the room was silent. Everyone's eyes were on The Flash.
"Flash?" Superman asked, "What's going on?"
"Time Loop."
Several tense seconds that Flash knew they couldn't afford to waste passed. Batman said, "Time loop?"
Flash nodded. "Time Loop."
"What do you know?" Wonder Woman asked.
"The government took a child. We need to get to Amity Park, Illinois and get a handle on the-" he looked to Deadman, "-ghosts?" When Deadman nodded, he continued, "Ghosts and see if we can get any information out of them."
Zatanna entered the room then, just as Barry remembered she would, turning the projector on and joining Constantine and Deadman at the front of the room. She didn't start speaking, though. Instead, it was Constantine.
"Phantom's a small time hero in Amity Park. For a while, he was the only thing standing between an interdimensional war." He looked The Flash in the eye, "How many loops is this?"
If Zatanna was surprised about the whole time loop revelation, she hid it well.
Flash shook his head. "Two, I think."
Batman took over the conversation from there, Robin at his side, probably communicating with his own team. "Flash and Superman, you need to check everywhere for Phantom; keep your comms on and open. Zatanna, Constantine, and Deadman, I want all the information you have yesterday. Everyone else, set up a perimeter ten miles out from Amity Park-"
Deadman froze, just as Barry knew he would, and disappeared. Zatanna's and Constantine's phones both started ringing. Then, the alarm started to blare.
"Robin," Batman continued through the noise of the heroes jumping into action, "What do you have for me?"
"Amity Park, Illinois," the young vigilante stated, reading the information off of his wrist computer's holo-screen and relaying it as quickly and coherently as he could, "It boasts to be the most haunted place in America. It's a hot spot for ghost hunters, though other supernatural 'experts' frequent there. Other than that, there's a firewall completely blocking off information coming out of the town. I don't think it's a stretch to say that there's limited, or at least filtered, information going into the town."
"Hm." Batman tapped his comm, "Cyborg, get me all the information about this town as you can."
"Got it."
"Robin,"
"On it, B."
"Hn."

Barbra was having a pretty normal day. She'd had a pretty good day at school, finished all her homework, and had even gotten to spend some time with her dad! Then, just as she was ready to go out as Batgirl, Batman called her.
Normally, Batman calling her isn't a cause for alarm. However, she knew for a fact that he was with the Justice League today. It was why she was getting ready to go out so early!
Ghosts, as it turns out, are elusive. Whether it's purposeful or not, it doesn't matter. What does matter is why the hell Batman, who hates dealing with anything supernatural, needs her to find information on ghosts of all beings!
She really wants to know what goes on in that man's head.
Actually, no, she really doesn't.
"Hey, Dickie," she greeted.
"Hey, Barbie," there was a smile in his voice, "What's up?"
Right the the chase. "B's acting weird."
A goran. "What'd he do this time?"
The hostility when talking about Bruce was not lost to her. "He's got me looking into ghosts. Any idea why?"
"Ghosts? He's with the JL today. Wally said there was an emergency meeting called about an hour ago."
"That's what I thought! But he just called and has me looking into ghosts. You think there's a correlation there?"
A sigh. "Most likely. Why doesn't he just ask the JLD? You've got more important things to be doing than doing research for him."
"Aw," she cooed exaggeratedly, "You do care!" She could practically hear his eyes rolling on the other end of the line. "Anyay, while I've got you here, are you gonna be coming to Gotham any time soon? I haven't seen you in a while."
Dick was quiet for a moment, the small chime of an incoming call making him groan in frustration. "Probably a lot sooner than I would like."
"Oh?"
"Bruce's calling. I'll let ya know what he says."
"Got it. Good luck, D."
"I'll need it." he scoffed, hanging up.
What a mess.

Gotta admit the way you write midoriya is just so... Literally can't find the words to describe it. I had this scenario I wished to request of you it's okay if you don't want to do it. Midoriya with an significant other that hears people taking about them, not deserving of him and how they are using him for his fame and all, then he teaches them a lesson?
DEFENDING YOU the gossip around the office gets on his nerves a lil bit
with izukuuuuu  + gn!reader
notes absolutely in love with this request ! thanks for reading my stuffs <3
a while after you were revealed as his girlfriend, izuku was faced with many backhanded comments about his relationship. sure, they were few and far between, but when they did happen he felt his self-control diminishing way faster than usual. especially if that person had the balls to say it to his face.
to be completely honest, he thought that everyone else should mind their own fucking business. he doesn't kid around when it comes to the people he cares about. the fact that he wants and needs you is enough.
but, nonetheless. people will still run their mouths.
it was another casual day in the office. you had the day off work and he was stuck at the agency headquarters, flipping through paperwork.
you were excited to see him. izuku had been holed up in work for what seemed like forever, and you were so happy to get the chance to spend time with each other during the coming weekend.
as you walked through the halls, you noticed the eyes following you. they were hard to miss, but they were part of the routine at this point. you soon found yourself in the elevator, head ducked as you pulled out your phone.
izu: you coming up soon baby?
you: yeah, i'm like 5 mins away
you: okay im in the lobby, heading up rn
izu: yayyy can't wait to see you, love :3
you smiled softly to yourself. when you looked up, the elevator was packed; all you could see were the backs of the seven or so individuals in front of you, pushing you into the corner. your stomach felt a little uneasy, thinking about how you'd have to tell these people to move to let you through, but you remembered izuku was on the top floor. there was no way they were all heading there.
the hushed voices of a few employees made your heart pound.
"you're talking about deku's s/o?"
"yeah! aren't they... i dunno. a little out of his league?"
"i'm saying! like i'd get it if they were maybe a model or something. but they're literally just a civilian. how disappointing is that? like uravity is right there."
"i'm sure they're just using him for his fame. he's in the field so much with other badass heroes, they probably barely get to see him. if deku wasn't deku, they'd dip in a heartbeat."
they all laughed.
you wanted to stop listening. flood your mind with meaningless thoughts to distract you. but you couldn't resist tuning in, feeding your insecurities and doubt.
the ding of the elevator saved you. they filed out of the elevator, leaving you with the cheerful jingle of the lift.
you were quiet as you walked down the long halls of the top floor, their words echoing in your mind. you knew they weren't true—and god, would izuku reassure the fuck out of you—but negativity was negativity. and negativity had a way of finding cracks and slipping through.
the giant glass doors slid over the tiled floor soundlessly, yet izuku's head popped up from behind all the papers and files at your arrival.
a huge grin bloomed on his face as he sped over to you, paperwork forgotten. "hello, honey. did you get up here okay?"
"yeah," you smiled and held up a takeout bag. "i got some snacks for us."
izuku's calculating gaze bore into you as he gingerly accepted the bag. "you alright?"
"hmm?" you tilted your head in confusion. of course he noticed. "yeah, i'm good." the last thing you wanted to do was stress him out even more.
his brows furrowed. he stepped closer to you, his hands resting on your waist. "don't lie to me, sweetheart." his tone was scolding but his eyes were gentle. "what's bothering you?"
you pursed your lips, sighing. "just a couple people talking about us, 'n how i don't deserve you—"
you felt him stiffen, his expression going cold.
"how i'm using you for the fame, blah, blah, blah." you forced a smile, trying to play it off in an amusing light. "you know, the usual."
izuku was tightlipped, responding only with a "hmm."
he was staring at the wall behind you, eyes narrowed as if he'd seen a villain or something. you knew that expression well.
you cupped his face, guiding him to look at you. "hey. it's okay, izu, i'm used to it. don't mind them, alright?"
izuku's gaze softened and he leaned into one of your palms, the other lifted off his face by his own hand. he pressed a little kiss to your wrist, rubbing his hand up and down your arm soothingly as you both walked out his office.
he decided to drop it, and just love the shit out of you as an apology for experiencing such disrespect. even if he did everything in his power to make sure everyone knew he belonged to you just as much as you belonged to him, he still felt guilty when people attacked you.
he still had many questions: who were they, what floor did they get off, and how can i discipline them? he usually felt sympathy for when employees messed up, but suddenly... he wasn't against firing them all.
the ride down to the lobby was filled with many adoring employees who giggled at the sight of the pro-hero, a phenomenon you were also very familiar with.
soon, you were gliding through the lobby, so close to freedom when he picks up on the idle chatter he hates so much.
"i think that's them!"
"it is. woah, his s/o is way more dull when you see 'em next to each other."
izuku grit his teeth. his eyes glanced down to you, seeing the way you blinked and pursed your lips. he suddenly paused. you walked forward a couple steps before you were tugged back by his stationary hand.
you looked at him curiously. "izu..?" your eyes darted around, lingering on the three that said those things about you.
he smiled, bending over you as he kissed your lips gently, pecking your forehead as well. "why don't you go to the car, love? i'll catch up in a second."
you gave him a warning look, noticing how he was drifting to where the three sat. "izu... really, let's just go."
he kissed you again and your head was swimming. "i'll only be a minute, angel. go on." he pat your back and watched as you left the lobby. when he turned around his expression was completely different.
he walked over to the three people, who instantly straightened at his approach. they shared glances with each other, both a little scared and confused.
"hello." izuku smiled, but there was no indication that he was happy. "i'm deku, and you all are..?"
they meekly listed their names, to which izuku took mental notes and nodded.
"great. uhm, i overheard you talking about my s/o?" he cocked his head to the side. "please, i'd love to hear your thoughts." he chuckles. "i'm kinda obsessed with them, or whatever."
"o-oh..." they stutter and avoid his gaze, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "no, it was nothing, really."
"hmm? nothing?" izuku and his months of public appearance training only made him more intimidating when angry; the joyless smile he wore as annoyance bubbled through him was ten times worse then any outright show of anger. "are you sure?"
"yes! promise." one nods eagerly.
he laughs mirthlessly and the three weakly chuckled along, thinking they were out of trouble. leaning close to them, his voice dropped into a low hum. "i'd like to keep it that way, yeah? let's not make them sad just so you could feel like you have an opinion about something that does not concern you whatsoever."
the three held onto each other, eyes rounded with shock as they listened to the pro-hero before them.
izuku's head tilted ever-so-slightly. "well?"
they began to trip over each other with their agreement, yes, of course! we wouldn't dream of it. consider it done! whatever you say!
izuku flashed his famous smile. "glad we got that sorted out. and just so that we're crystal clear, if i—or anyone for that matter—catch you talking down on my s/o again..." he pursed his lips, his eyes narrowing in thought. "i'd hate to have to terminate your contracts... it's a lot of paperwork, you know?"
they shook their heads, bowing deeply to the pro-hero. "never again, sir!"
"great!" izuku chirped. "bye!"
[]
your leg bobbed nervously in the car, wondering what izuku was doing and if you should go in there and see for yourself. just as you were about to act, you saw his green hair bob over the cars beside you, eventually coming into view.
you exhaled in relief as he slipped into the driver's seat, sighing happily. he turned to stare at you, leaning dreamily over the steering wheel. you smiled, though your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"you're so pretty." he sighed.
"i—" you blinked, laughing. "thank you, baby."
"i'm so lucky to have you..." he continued, leaning over the compartment separating your seats.
you giggled, matching his energy. "mhmm."
he gave you a lopsided smile. "you deserve everything i have and more."
your face felt warm as you shy away from him, knowing why he was spouting all these affirmations. his fingers hooked under your chin, tilting your face. his hair brushed against your forehead as he captured your lips. he grinned at you when he pulled away, staring at you with such adoration.
"so..." you ignore your racing heart and try to regulate your breathing. "are you gonna tell me what happened?"
he squished your cheeks before turning back in his seat, starting the car. "nope!"
you smiled and rolled your eyes, uncertainties gone and doubt erased. in the end, you weren't ever bothered. and strangely, you never saw those three faces again.

Can i get an immortal villain×mortal hero please please please🥺
I'll give you my croissants 🥐🥐🥐
"How would you like to die?" the villain asked. Their eyes were closed where they sat upon a park bench, head tipped back to the cool breeze and the clear blue sky.
The hero stopped, a little uncertain, but not exactly startled.
"I've tried every kind of death," the villain said. "I can make a recommendation if you prefer."
"I'm not going to die."
The villain's lips twisted - a smile, of sorts. "All mortals die. It is the linchpin of their condition."
"I won't die because of you."
The villain's smile broadened. "Drowning, perhaps. Or maybe suffocation. I don't want to disturb the ducks."
"Why those in particular?"
The villain finally deigned to open their eyes at the question, considering the hero where they stood. The hero couldn't quite read the villain's expression, but their voice remained casual. "Everyone always thinks they can survive those ones. If they just thrash, just fight, hard enough. Then they go very still and very quiet when they realise they can't. You have time to realise what's going to happen to you, see."
"Nice to see you at least put thought into your craft."
"What can I say, I'm a sweetheart. You only get one death."
"But you don't."
"You've done some research. Not enough," the villain added, tipping their head, "seeing as you're still standing there talking to me. But some. Kudos. I guess we'll see if you're brave or stupid."
"I'm not trying to kill you."
"Contain me. Incapacitate me." The villain waved a dismissive hand. "You might save your generation, perhaps, if you get lucky. Are you feeling lucky?"
"I'm not trying to do that either."
"Oh?" The villain sat up a little, finally tuning in properly to the conversation. "Are you not a hero? You dress like one."
"I'm hoping to find a more peaceful, effective solution."
The villain slumped, bored, again. "Mm. This should be good."
"Because I have done my research," the hero said, taking another step closer. "You're immortal. You only kill people when they attack you or are in the way of you wanting something."
"As I said, I'm a sweetheart and a saint."
The hero's jaw tightened. The villain had slaughtered thousands across the decades after all. They were many things, and had lived many lives, but in none of them had they ever been a sweetheart or a saint.
"And what you want most," the hero ploughed on, "other than your comfortable life, is not to be bored. There's no end, after all. So you need distraction. Diversion. Something to make time a little less of of a prison."
The villain was silent for a long moment, watching the hero. "I take it back," they said, finally. "I'm going to drive a knife through your ribs. Nice and slow. You know it's much harder to die from a stab wound than people think? Often it's the blood loss that gets ya."
"And then what?"
The villain shrugged. "Feed the ducks. Go back to my book. Make Christmas lights out of your bones. The possibilities are endless!"
"Sounds lonely."
"You think you're the first to try this, don't you?"
"I think you haven't met me before."
"Maybe I will entertain myself with you," the villain said. "Maybe I'll destroy your life and the live of everyone you talk to from now on. That could be fun. It's been a while since I've been so personal a devil."
Despite themselves, the hero swallowed. Despite their resolve, they considered walking away. Just for a moment.
The villain pushed to their feet, tossing their paperback carelessly aside.
The hero squared their shoulders. They felt their suddenly-fragile feeling heart begin to race. They let the villain stop in front of them, they tried not to let out a desperate shudder as the villain's fingers wrapped around their throat.
"Pick an option," the villain said, caressing their pulse. "Lose air. Lose blood. Or lose everything, but get a few more years before you go. If you ask really nicely, I might even make it quick. "
The hero shifted. They passed through the villain's fingers as if it were nothing, as if the villain were nothing. A ghost. Untouchable.
When the villain turned, the hero sat on the bench the villain had vacated. They made a show of picking up the villain's book, willing their once-more solid fingers not to tremble.
The villain raised an eyebrow. "Phasing. Cute."
"I don't age when I'm in ghost mode. Any injuries I have heal. If someone kills me, I stay dead, presumably. I'm mortal, as you say, but..."
"Hard to kill."
"Hardest you'll find. Or does the challenge scare you?"
"Determined little martyr, aren't you?"
"Not like you have anything to lose experimenting. You have all the time in the world."
"You realise I don't have to honour any deal now that you've revealed your hand? I could just hunt you and continue hurting other people, especially now I know how much it bothers me."
"I'll disappear."
"I have all the time in the world. I'd find you eventually."
"I guess then I'd just vanish again, if you don't want to play ball."
"You really are just the cutest, aren't you?"
"Is that a yes?"
"Maybe." The villain held out a hand for their book. "I haven't decided. Buy me lunch. See if you can keep my interest for more than five minutes."
"Lunch."
"There's a new cafe I haven't tried. Apparently they make their own croissants."
"You want to go to lunch with me?"
"No, I want to go to lunch. All this talk of bloodshed is giving me the munchies! But I'm assuming you're currently planning to haunt me, so you may as well pay. Unless you want me to just...kill anyone who tries to charge me."
"No! No."
"That's what I thought. Great minds."
The hero pushed to their feet, as the villain had, tentatively offering them their book back. They weren't entirely sure if that encounter had gone well or not.
The villain smiled, full of teeth, eyes gleaming.
"For your sake, little hero, do try not to be boring."
And, so, they went for lunch.

Hold on, Brigitta MacBridge has a superhero persona? Does EVERY Disney Duck have a hero alter ego??
Also, Brigittik the Romantic Avenger sounds accurate for what I've seen of her...

Hot Ghouls in your area ch 5 part 1 of 2
Masterpost
Jason found himself back in the real world (the human world?) in fuckin Star City. Christ. Luckily, his electronics came on line. They weren’t fried, then. He looked up the nearest zeta tube and booked it over there, not eager to get caught in another hero’s city. The worst part would be that Batman would inevitably smooth it out on his behalf and go growl at Queen for having the audacity to try to arrest him. Jason did not need to get bailed out by his asshole Dad, thanks.
He wasn’t worried about Green Arrow and his crew per se, but it would be a shitstorm he didn’t need even if he managed to get out.
Not when he was so laden down with books that he had unfolded both dufflebags stored in his suit, for fuckin sure. Sure, they’d make phenomenal weapons if he swung ‘em around, but the books deserved better than that.
His comm forced itself on as soon as he came through to Gotham.
“You’re back!” Barbie said, breathless. “You’re alive? Right?”
Jason snorted. The street he stepped onto wasn’t fully dark yet. Patrol probably hadn’t started. “I’m alive,” he confirmed. “How long was I gone?”
“About ten hours,” she said.
Oh. Jason pursed his lips. It wasn’t dusk, it was dawn. “Tonight must have been fun,” he said lightly.
She laughed darkly. “You’re about to find out how fun it was.”
He stopped in his tracks. “Hey, no-”
Oracle opened up a line to what was probably every vigilante in Gotham city. “Hood is back and safe,” she announced, gleeful about throwing him to the wolves. “He’s on 2nd and Grim, for anyone who wants to drop by and tell him how much they missed him.”
Jason cursed a blue streak and started off at a dead sprint as he reached for his grappling hook. It was a lot slower than usual since he was swinging two enormous bags of books. …Could he even grapple with these? Goddamn. He’d be over the weight limit. He cursed even harder and put the hook back.
“Heading west,” Oracle said cheerfully, and then clicked off a bare instant before he manually mashed the damn power button on his setup. Nope, nope, nope, he was not dealing with this shit tonight.
He made it about four blocks and was so goddamn close to a safehouse (one of Bruce’s, but he could put it on lockdown) when a wailing blue and black blur emerged from the skies.
“We thought you died,” Nightwing warbled at him. Jesus fucking christ, he had been crying. His face was wet. Jason tried to duck away but he was too laden. He struggled against the hold for a few futile seconds before he went limp.
Dick sniffled into his chest.
“Shut up,” Jason said, shoulders nearly up to his ears. He didn’t need to hear any criticism of how he had handled that cult situation, or any grieving about how this had made people think of the time he got brutally beaten to death.
“I’m not saying anything,” Dick mumbled. He gave one more squeeze before withdrawing. “Huge relief to see you in the-what do you have there?” He dove down into the bags of books before Jason could kick him away. He was already prying the bag open by the time he asked. Jason tried to pull it away but it was impossible to keep Dick’s grabby hands out of your business.
“He went to a library,” Nightwing announced to the comms, outraged. “We thought he was dead and he went to a library!”
Someone laughed loudly on the comms. The brat turned on his comms explicitly to scoff.
“Did you rob a library?” Dick’s voice went high. “There’s so much here!” He flipped things around. “There- these are the same book? Hood, why do you have so many copies of the same book?”
“They’re not the same,” Jason snapped. “Get your grubby hands off of them!” He took his things back and edged away, glowering at his dumb asshole brother. “If you came to gawk, you did it, so now fuck off. You can clearly see that I am fine.”
“Jason,” Batman rasped, like the goddamn creep he was. Jason spun to see that he’d come up from behind. He lurched closer. He looked like hell. His knuckles were bloody and his pulse was jumping in his throat.
“No names in masks,” Jason snapped. He put his hands up to keep Bruce at a distance. “That’s your own rule, old man!”
It was no use. He endured the bullshit while his dumbass Dad made sure he wasn’t dead again, but he drew the line at letting Bruce clutch him and probably sob under his sweaty cowl like a weirdo.
“I should have stayed there,” Jason grumbled. He patted at Bruce’s back. “There, there, asshole. You’re fine.”

hi could you do a yandere Adam,Lute, lucifer and Charlie x kid reader who is struggles with being social and keeps to themself(platonic of course)
ok, so for some context reader is a heaven/hellborn child.
Adam
He's known about you for awhile
If we're following bibical sources he and Eve did have children, and Adam did mention "all of humanity came from this fucking nuts!"
So, you're not the first child he's dealt with
When the elder angels were making you, he saw glimpses and fell in love, even more if you look similar to human Lilith or Eve
When the elders were looking for an angel to act as your mentor, Adam jumped on the chance
At first, he was excited to bring you to all these fun things
Soon, your clashing personalitys make it hard
Though, the more protective he gets over you he uses it to his advantage
Does not try to make you more social
Uses you inability to be social to keep you close to him
Hates when you keep to yourself, he wants you to talk to only him and maybe Lute
Teaches you that you are better than the beings of Hell
When Charlie and Vaggie arrive for the trial, he keeps you away
Frames the Extermination in a way that casts Heaven and himself in a good light
Teaches you how to fly
Frames Lucifer and Hell as pure evil
Keeps you from every getting too social with people who aren't him and Lute
Frames Eve in an innocent victim
Makes you think he's the best guy ever and that Lute is a hero
Lute
She is a bit like you
Adam had important meeting so he left you with her
You two don't really bond right away
She acts like your bodyguard, seeing you as something highly important
After many months of babysitting, she becomes like an overprotective mom
Keeps you away from things that she thinks are bad for you
Looks for ways to make you just social enough for a child
Like Adam, wishes you would tell her things
Uses somewhat harsher ways to make you open up
Helps you with boundaries in relation to everyone else
Also frames Hell, Lucifer, and Vaggie as evil that deserves to die
Makes sure you never question how badass and heroic she is
When Charlie and Vaggie are in Heaven for the trial, she keeps you away
She thinks even looking at them will corrupt you
You're her innocent baby and no one can change her mind
think of the Brooklyn 99 meme with Risa and her puppy Arlo, yeah that's how Lute feels about you
Charlie
How you end up at the hotel doesn't matter
What matters now is that Charlie has taken the roll of "mom"
She introduces you to everyone
But, the violence of Hell and the Extermination makes her worry about you
Keeps you inside as much as possible
Loves for you to be more social
Is clingy with you
Keeps you far away from anyone or anything that could hurt you
Will sing songs with/to you
Is happy you're hellborn
You being hellborn means you can't leave her
Will use her power and status to keep you from moving out
Doesn't matter what demon type you are or which ring you come from
Keeps you as far from Alastor and the angels as she can
Might bring you around Rosy, only sometimes
Loves whenever you're open with her
Wants you to be friends with the "nicer guests"
Will be extra happy if you bond with your "second mom" a.k.a Vaggie
Lucifer
When he first meets you at the hotel his mind goes "My beautiful grandchild"
Bonds with you
Claims you help his depression get better
Spoils you rotten
You're his only grandbaby, he loves you
Makes you a custom rubber duck
Is just as protective as his daughter
Makes you pancakes whenever you ask
Tells you about how wonderful Lilith is
Helps you make your own rubber ducks
Tears up in sadness when you're not open with him
Your shyness at first makes him think you hate him
Tries his best to make you open up more, with help of course
Gives you a thumbs up when you're more soical
Doesn't care about your class or demon type
Will defend that you're his grandkid

clever cat
𝜗𝜚 synopsis: you and spiderman keep flirting with each other, so you decide— on a whim!— to do something about it
𝜗𝜚 pairing(s): MCU!Peter Parker x Black Cat!male reader
𝜗𝜚 warning(s): thievery, kinda open ending (it's happy though!!)
𝜗𝜚 notes: English is not my first language!!! written for this request! Hope you like this anon :3
It started out as something to cure your boredom, keep you busy— and by it you mean the whole running around in spandex stealing things, of course— but now, now you do it to get the attention of the cute spider themed hero.
You had just finished robbing a high-end jewelry store when he showed up. Right when you thought he would.
"Did no one ever teach you it isn't nice to steal, kitty?" Spider-Man's voice sounds from behind you, slightly muffled by the fabric of his mask.
You two have been doing this for a little while now, throwing witty words at each other, bantering, borderline flirting, while he tries to stop you, with little to no success— sometimes you begin to think he's letting you go on purpose.
"If they did, I wasn't listening." You smirk, fangs flashing in the city's neverending lights. Before he can respond you're jumping onto another rooftop, starting the cat and mouse chase you two often find yourselves in.
He swings after you. And catches up quickly, too. He knows you and your schemes quite well by now. "C'mon, kitty cat, you can't run from me all night."
"I will if I have to!" You chuckle and duck as he shoots a web at you. The chase continues on and on, like it always does, with witty remarks being uttered into the night.
Then, Spider-Man's almost above you, so close to catching you. "Y'know, with how many times I find you on my tail, I'm starting to think you have a crush on me or something." You boldly tease him, half to throw him off, and half because you wish he had a crush on you.
He gets flustered, like he always does, and misses on his next swing, falling to the rooftop and landing behind you. "What? I do not!" It doesn't sound very convincing, though, not to you anyway.
"Oh Spidey, just admit it, you like this little thing of ours." There it is again. The flirting. You can't help it! It just feels so right. You'd be lying if you said you didn't have feelings for him.
You don't know when or how, but you end up with his face inches from yours, his mask rolled up just above his nose. You know you're talking and that he's talking, you're talking to each other— but all you can focus on are his lips, and he doesn't seem much better either.
The gap between the two of you slowly closes and your lips meet and it's exhilarating, you almost can't believe it. But before you know it, both of you are pulling away, flustered.
"I— uh, gotta go, bye Spidey!" You hurry to say, dropping the bag of stolen jewels on to the ground next to him and turning around to leave.
"Wuh— wait! Kitty don't go!" He yells after you, "at least tell me your name before you go, please?" You have to pause for a moment at the softness in his pleading voice. Should you? You decide to just, fuck it. You whisper your name, so quiet you'd think no one heard it, but from the way his face lights up you can tell he heard you loud and clear.
You disappear into the night like you always do, leaving Spider-Man to stand there, on the roof top, a blush painting his cheeks red and a silly grin tugging the corners of his lips up.

The rain drizzled from the sky. Toshinori sighs as he feels another fatigue attack coming along. He wasn’t sure if it was his anxiety working its way through his system or was it the lack of breakfast he had today, but the way he was feeling was telling him he was going to run out of stamina and soon. He wouldn’t be able to manage to get home.
Nevermind getting home, he wouldn’t be able to manage to get down the street from here. He tried to hide himself, ducking into an alleyway as his breath was getting more and more shallow. He folds in half, clutching the old scar that would never allow him to be normal again. His blond tresses brush against the cold, brick wall as he leans against the building. It’s not long before he’s coughing up some blood, and he curses himself for not having any tissues on him. Toshinori feels cold, defeated and depressed.
‘I used to be the number one hero. I used to be somebody. I could go for days without needing rest…’ He thinks pitifully to himself.
And then, there in the opening of the alleway, a familiar face appears. Your heart stops for a moment when you see your former mentor sitting on the cold, dirty ground. You rush over to him, kneeling down to get a better look at him.
“A-All Might?” You ask, wondering if he even recognizes you right now.
He smiles weakly. “I don’t think I deserve to hear that name coming from your lips.”
You’re quick to dig in your purse for a tissue. You wipe away the blood on his lips, then you press your hand on his forehead. He was running a low fever, and by the look on his face, you could tell he was very fatigued. There’s shame written all over his face.
Toshinori can’t stop thinking about how old he feels and how useless he feels right now. Especially considering it had been a few years since the two of you had actually seen each other in person. You knew about his true form, but seeing him in such a state hurts your heart more than anything.
“Do you need help?” You finally offer, not wanting to hurt his pride.
He nods. “Y-yeah…I’d like that.”
Gently you pick him up and carry him bridal style. Something about being the one carried makes him feel warm inside, despite the blush creeping up on his cheeks. It was a little embarrassing right now, but he was feeling too weak to even really care. He nuzzles against your chest as you make your way down the street to your apartment.
Once inside the comforts of your place, Toshinori feels a little more at ease. You sit him on the couch, removing his wet jacket and hanging it up so it can dry. In the kitchen, you rustle up your kettle to boil water for some tea.
Then you sit down next to him. He’s still shivering, even when you give him the steaming mug of tea. ‘I must look so pathetic,’ he thinks to himself. But the way you continue to dote on him makes him feel so adored. He smiles weakly again, but you know he’s trying to put up a front that he’s okay when he’s not.
“It’s been a long time, huh?” You finally cut the silence.
He takes a sip of his tea. “Two years now. But I always see you on the news,”
“Really? Are you really keeping up with the shit I do?”
He groans. “You know it’s not shit. You’re an amazing hero! You save so many, you inspire new generations of heroes.”
“Who do you think I learned it from?”
This causes butterflies to erupt in his tummy. He hasn’t felt this way in so long. He met you when you were in your first year out of UA. You were a bright-eyed young hero, just wanting to show the world that you were here. And boy did you ever make an impression. With your power-type quirk that gives you super strength and super speed, you and All Might were a perfect match.
He was your mentor for years. He watched you grow from that innocent little thing that was so keen on doing the right thing to the beautiful woman you are now. Sure it had been two years since you two had seen one another, but that didn’t stop the bond you already have.
“I suppose you had a good mentor to teach you all those tricks,” Toshinori laughs.
“He was always so good to me…a mentor that could make me feel so many emotions. Even ones I didn’t understand at the time.”
Toshinori notices the way you grow silent all of a sudden. He’s hesitant to reach out and to ask what you mean, but he knows what you’re talking about. Your admiration for the man had bloomed into something even deeper. The good ol’ days when you two would fight crime together are long behind you, but the love you have for him is still very apparent.
“Did you ever…tell this person how you truly feel?” He asks, worried that maybe you’ll never admit it.
You blush and look down at your lap. “I figured he knew.”
There’s a tension building between the two of you. He looks at you with the eyes of a very tired, worn down man. A man who feels like he’s lost everything, and yet here you are, one of the most precious gifts in his life. You’re still here. You saved him from what could have been a nasty panic attack in that alleyway too. He reaches out and caresses your cheek softly.
“What if I told you that your mentor loves you?”
The words sound like they are coming from someone else. You had imagined this moment for so long, only to push it all away the day you and All Might decided to part ways. You wondered if he had ever truly clued in on the crush you had on him, but this was letting you know that it was oh so real.
“He…loves me?” You ask, finally looking up at him.
Toshinori blushes and he takes your hand in his. “I love you.”
There’s a moment of silence before you get closer to him and begin kissing him. It’s soft and sweet at first, but soon turns into something a little hungrier and passionate. You feel like you can’t get enough, even though your lips are pressed to his and you have your hands on his body. You need to breathe him in, hold him until you two become one.
“I love you too,” you whisper against his lips.
His whole body feels warm now, despite the chill he definitely had earlier. His large hands cradle your face. He swipes his thumbs against your cheeks before he kisses you again. It’s so soft, and so delicate. You feel like you’re floating on a cloud. The one thing you had always hoped for was finally coming true.
There’s almost this clarity in his eyes when you pull away. He strokes your cheeks again, a small smile on his face. You can’t hide your own silly grin. A million and one thoughts pass through your mind, but you don’t seem to even know how to process everything. You’re snapped out of it when Toshinori shivers again.
“You need a bath,” you offer. “A warm bath.”
He can’t say no. You take his hands in yours and help him to his feet. He follows you diligently into the bathroom. It’s cozy here. It smells like flowers. Toshinori feels comforted immediately. He remembers when you told him about finding this apartment. It seems like it was only yesterday instead of just last year during a phone call.
You start up the water and begin digging in a cupboard for bath salts and essential oils. The room fills with the soft scent of lavender and jasmine. Toshinori looks at you and he notices you’re beginning to undress. There’s a look on your face; it’s one he knows all too well. The look of being insecure to undress in front of someone.
His eyes widen when you get completely naked. Your body is so beautiful. The skin looks so soft to the touch. But what really catches his eye is the large scar on your chest. It almost mirrors the one on his chest. It’s red in some spots, fading to a purple shiny look]\\. You try to hide it from him, but he approaches you.
“When did…when did this happen?” He asks you, regretting not being there with you whenever this happened.
You look away ashamed, “Not long after we parted ways. I guess I needed All Might more than I figured.”
He pulls you in close, kissing you deeply. Tears roll down your cheeks, but he’s so quick to hush you softly with the sweetest words. He rubs his nose against yours before kissing you so sweetly.
“You’re so strong,” he comments. “I know you fight with that same flame that lights up my heart.”
You’re swooning now. Who would have thought that Toshinori Yagi would be such a smooth talker? He smiles at you when you look up at him. Then you help take off his clothes, uncovering his own scar.
Both of you sigh happily as you sink into the large tub together. Toshinori pulls you even closer. His hands are itching to get all over you. The warm water makes you feel even more silky smooth to the touch. His lips are right by your ear as he leans in to whisper.
“I should have been there for you,” he admits. “I should have continued to help you grow. You needed me, but I was so foolish to let you go. I thought…I thought I was holding you back.”
You turn to look at him, “I never ever thought you were holding me back. Never ever did I think that, not even once.”
“I just felt like you could have done so much more without me,” he whispers. “But I failed you.”
You finally turn to face him and you straddle his lap. Being this close to you suddenly has his blood rushing down to his groin. Your breasts press against his chest. Toshinori looks at you with his lips parted and his cheeks pink.
“I don’t want to hear you talking so poorly about yourself. You really have no idea how amazing you are, do you?”
He shakes his head, “You give me too much credit.”
Another kiss pressed to his lips. Between more heated kisses, you remind him of his greatness. He wants to deny it, but when it comes from you, it sounds so heavenly. It sounds like the actual truth. Not the same words that fell from so many mouths before you and after you. No, those weren't empty praises from his admirers, but it sounds even better coming from you.
His hands caress your sides slowly; he’s taking his time to savor the feeling of your skin. You smell good too, your own musk melding with the floral scents that cling to the air. It makes the hair on his body stand on end as he keeps leaning in to kiss you.
There’s a deep noise that comes from his throat when he grows hard. His erection presses against your mound, slipping between your moist folds. You gasp at the sudden contact and you look at the man in front of you. There’s a perverted grin on his face.
“This is a new technique,” his voice is gravelly now. “A new technique I never got to teach you.”
One of his hands soothes down your body, stopping only to knead your breasts softly before heading down to your pussy. You let out a cute moan as he begins to stimulate you. All logical thoughts go out the window when he begins to rub your clit in slow circles. You feel his cock prodding against your hole.
“I know you’re strong enough to take this. You’ll be good for me, won’t you?”
Whispers of you promising to be good for him fill the air. He smirks at the way you’re grinding against him. He really pictured this moment so many times, especially when he’d lay awake at night thinking of you. And now, he has you here in his arms. He has you so close and he’s not going to let you go. Never again will he let you go.
Toshinori regains his strength enough to help position you over his throbbing cock. Slowly, you begin to sink down on it. Your mind is swimming as you try to adjust to his very large girth. Never would you have imagined just how good it would feel to finally take him. He presses a kiss to your temple as you lean in to rest against him.
“Relax for me,” he coos. “Please breathe.”
You shudder at his soft words of encouragement. Your whole body feels warm and relaxed as you rest against your lover. The man you’ve loved for so long, finally here to love you in the way you’ve wanted forever. You have to blink back tears as his arms wrap around you and he rubs your back slowly.
“That’s it. You’re taking me so well.” He whispers in your ear. “I knew you could take me.”
You whimper. “Toshi, you’re so big.”
This causes him to smirk again. He knows he’s big. And he knew you’d say something like that to flatter his ego. But it’s purely just you babbling as your mind struggles with the euphoric pleasure that he’s giving you just by pulling you down onto his cock. The minute he bottoms out, you let out a gasp.
Slowly, he begins rocking his hips. Words of praise fill your ears as you try to ride him as well. Toshinori kisses you, making your walls clench around him. He loves the way you’re already so close to your orgasm. He does everything to tease you, pushing you closer to that peak. And when you do cum, it’s explosive. He can see the pleasure all over your features. Your lips part, your body shakes and your eyes roll back.
“S-shit…” He finally manages to pull you off.
You see the way his cock is throbbing. It’s angry and red and leaking so much precum. In your haze, you reach for it to begin stroking him. Toshinori has to push your hand away as he feels the coil in his stomach tightening.
“N-no…don’t want it to end like this.”
He helps you out of the tub, being the one to lean on this time. Both of you take a while to dry each other off. Toshi sits on the seat nearby and you rub soft lotion all over his skin. You don’t skimp out on the praise and words of love either. Then he takes his turn to rub the lotion on you, treating you to a similar experience.
The sheets are crisp and soft. Toshinori wastes no time pulling you in to kiss you. There’s a new excitement in the air as he grows aroused. Without warning, he shifts into his muscular form. Your eyes widen; you try to take him all in.
“Like what you see?” He inquires, smirking down at you.
“Yes, but I love all of you.”
This nearly brings him to tears. How you could just so easily tear down the walls he’s put up for years is beyond him. But he’s lucky to have you now after not seeing you for so long. Your hands cup his cheeks and you two share a very heated and hungry kiss.
Toshinori bends you into the position he wants you in, and then he uses his cock to rub against your swollen, aching clit. He growls with every twitch and squirm of your body. He’s never seen anything more beautiful than you. With his mind fuzzy with lust, he pushes into you ever so slowly.
“T-Toshi!” You squeal as he finally bottoms out.
Just the sensation of his thicker cock hitting your sweet spot has you arching your back in preparation for another intense orgasm. Toshinori loves the way you look so fucked out already. He should chastise himself for being such a perverted old man, but the way you keep begging for him to fuck you, he knows he’s in the right to make you feel this way.
His thumbs rub against your nipples as he begins to pound you. You can’t even keep up with the amount of pleasure. You’re drenching the sheets below you, leaving a big mess. A few more thrusts has you over the edge, crying out his name like it’s your own personal mantra. Toshinori leans in even closer, kissing you sloppily.
“I’m close,” he pants. “Should I pull out?”
You shake your head, pleading for him to ‘cum inside, please’ which practically makes him blow his load immediately. Loud grunts of your name and a string of curses fall from his lips as he paints your insides white. More and more of it fills you up, and you swear you’ve never seen another man cum this much. When he finally pulls out, he strokes himself a few more times to paint your lower abdomen with a few more shots.
You look up at him, seeing the dark look of lust be replaced with a deep look of love in his eyes. Toshinori kisses you once more before he gets up. You lay there, trying to understand what just happened. When he returns, he cleans you up with a warm washcloth before joining you on the bed. He pulls you to sit in his lap, playing with your hair.
“I hope you know that I’m not letting you go again,” he whispers. “You’re stuck with me.”
He spreads your thighs, letting his half-hard cock rest against your mound. There’s a deep growl that rumbles from him as he nips at your neck.
“All mine now.”
